We live in a complex and challenging society. To effectively withstand the many problems facing youth requires the development of creative prevention skills. The Males Advocating Change (M.A.C.), established in 1995, is a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing youth awareness and encouraging all to be creative when developing youth prevention skills. We empower all youth by supplying them with the tools and guidance necessary to actively resist crime, drug and alcohol consumption as well as peer pressure. By utilizing creative and innovative teaching techniques we strengthen existing programs. Serving as a catalyst for community collaboration, M.A.C. has become instrumental in the implementation of crime prevention programs throughout urban and rural America. Our vision is to support all youth initiated movements that involve all facets of the community. We challenge all youth to become active resources within their communities for crime prevention, positive peer pressure, mentoring youth to youth and through sports programs. |
