M.A.C. provides activities that serve as a catalyst for the reduction of youth crime and recidivism. A group of concerned males who wanted to provide prevention and positive opportunities for all youth created M.A.C. in 1995. This organization collaborates with community agencies and public schools systems to provide workshops, professional seminars, and sport initiatives and outreach services.
The goal of M.A.C. is to create a stronger bond among communities and its youth. The organization works to ensure the reduction and future elimination of all youth criminal and delinquent activities and off-setting such activities through positive mentoring programs with the M.A.C. and various community agencies.
The series of outlined strategies for M.A.C. are designed to encourage youth of all ages and ethnic backgrounds to become productive and active participants in the reduction of criminal and delinquent behaviors within schools and their communities.
