“A Walk Down Death Row”, is a conflict-resolution dramatization based upon a college-bound athlete and a college-bound scholar. The two teens find themselves face-to-face with life-changing circumstances that affect not only their lives, but the lives that surrounded them. The skit provides a visual of the consequences of violence, having low self-esteem, peer pressure, and minimal community awareness. This powerful “walk”, embraces the understanding of how fragile life is and the importance of maximizing our potential in the areas in which we are strong.

“Brother to Brother/ Sister to Sister”, is a conflict-resolution workshop that addresses gender issues. This workshop serves to empower our youth by helping them to realize that presentation, attitude, demeanor, appearance, personality, socialization skills and much more means everything in their world. Young people will be empowered to make verbal and subconscious commitments that will influence their decision making as they address each other.

“Alan Jackson”, a unique dramatization of a family living in rural America forced to deal with issues commonly perceived to be urban concerns. The skit allows you to view the problems of peer pressure, poverty, gang violence, low self-esteem and suicide as seen through the eyes of a young teen. This true to live re-enactment empowers youth to become active participants in the fight against senseless violence in all communities. |
